Riverbanks are home to the main lodge and six luxurious river suites rest in harmony with their magnificent location. Each boasts its own viewing deck, air-conditioned bedroom and lounge area, with fully stocked mini bar, tea/coffee facilities as well as en-suite bathroom with a unique bath made for two. It has an additional toilet and separate shower facility. Two Umntwana Honeymoon Suites have made this ’private kingdom’ an even more idyllic location for newlyweds, or even those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and rekindle their romance. Celling-high windows and a more open-plan design, sets them apart from the regular suites with an extra spacious deck and private plunge pool overlooking the river. The Isigodlo Private Villa, hosts four adults. It is furnished with two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with their own private en-suite bathroom. An open plan design with a spacious deck and plunge pool overlooking the beautiful Mkuze River. Your own ranger, tracker and private vehicle will ensure that the game viewing experience is one you will remember for a lifetime with each guest having their own window and seat to natures show piece. Game activities at Amakhosi are a highlight with early morning and late afternoon safaris allowing guest the opportunity to observe the Big Five as well as an abundance of birdlife and nocturnal animals. Seasonal night frogging safaris are conducted in the rainy months from November to February, allowing guests to walk through the reeds on the banks of the river in search of all things that go’s "ribbit". There is also an option of a bush walk guided by our skilled Rangers and Trackers to explore the intricacies of the African Bush.

The "Isi God lord Private Villa is located a leopards leap away from the main lodge which overlooks the meandering Mkuze River and is perfectly positioned to capture every African sunset which adorns the rolling hills in this pristine Zululand wilderness.
